This Arts and Crafts style house was transformed with a three storey extension at the rear. We took advantage of the sloping site to add lower ground floor accommodation with large openings looking onto the garden. We added two additional bedrooms for guests and a spacious first floor living room enjoys views of the rear garden over a planted roof. The ground floor level bedrooms are light-filled with slot roof lights and glass walls onto the new terrace. The project is characterised by Arts and Crafts detailing, generous spaces and careful attentions to views and light.
