We were successful in obtaining this commission during summer 2000. Stage 1 entails feasibilities for the redevelopment of the existing Woollen Museum at Drefach. The buildings are grade two listed and our brief involves the reinterpretation of the site and to provide new facilities such as a café, retail area, staff and public facilities. It is intended to submit a stage 2 HLF bid in Jan 2001. We are working with a variety of other consultants such as interpretation, archaeology,etc. On site construction commenced in September 2003. Practical completion is due in February 2004 followed by the exhibition fit out and a public reopening in April 2004.
