The project involved the Demolition of the existing dilapidated hotel and the design of a high quality replacement building which had to include ground floor commercial and disabled units. The two upper floors contain a mix of different sizes social housing flats. The site is extremely prominent and situated within a conservation area. Close liaison was required between ourselves and the local authority planning & building control departments to ensure a successful and quality end product.
