This project followed from the merger of the Worcester Royal Grammar School and the adjacent Alice Ottley School. Both campuses contained listed buildings. It involved site planning and reorganization to link the two sites, space rationalisation and specific building projects such as refurbishing all the science laboratories, creating a new fitness suite, a new dance studio, new kitchen and reception areas. There was very little lead in time available and much of the work had to be carried out in short periods on site so as to minimise disturbance to the school. The projects were completed on time. This was only possible because of good partnering type working between the client, consultants and the contractor.
