The main elements of the project brief derive from the requirements of HSBC, who is the main occupier of the office space. The building provides 165,000 sq ft of modern office space with ancillary functions across four office floor plates, with good levels of natural daylight. It is located close to the existing commercial office core of the city with the main entrance well positioned on a key city street intersection. The building also contains 50,000 sqft of retail and leisure space which activate the street frontage at public realm level. The building has a basement service area with limited off-street car parking. The design has been created to make a strong positive architectural statement within the city.
