The project comprises a new workshop building for the Arts Institute at Bournemouth to service the Colleges various design, modelmaking and fine art degree courses. The project also includes major refurbishment works to existing campus buildings to provede new studio and computing space. The style of the new building could be loosely described as hitech, though extensive use of external walkways, landscaping and stone filled gabions firmly root the building into the site.
