This beautifully restored 19th-century timber-framed granary, originally a grain store for the neighbouring manor house, has been thoughtfully transformed into a charming self-contained annexe. Our client had a vision to convert this redundant structure into a separate annexe to the main house, while preserving and enhancing its agriculatural heritage, and the result is a seamless blend of old and new. The original timber frame and exposed beams remain central to the building’s character, carefully retained and restored throughout. Inside, the space has been reimagined to include an open-plan living area, downstairs toilet, ensuite, and bedroom.
