Albion Riverside was the creation of Norman Foster in collaboration with Hutchinson and Whampoa. This 10 storey organic development is situated between Battersea and Albert Bridge on the Thames riverfront adjacent Chelsea with grand views overlooking the north London skyline. The client?s brief referred to the strip out of the existing apartment in its entirety back to shell and the creation of a new spatial floor plan, which would embrace the client?s vision and subsequent lifestyle. Attention to detail was a fundamental part of this project and Lawray undertook the challenge to produce an on site scheme, which encapsulated not only the latest Mechanical, Electrical and Audio visual requirements, but also to ensure this services package was successfully installed within the constraints of an organic architectural envelope. On this particular project, Lawray Architects were appointed by and worked closely with Richard Meier and Partners of New York to deliver a handsome contemporary scheme with all the hallmarks of Meier?s modernistic approach
