Laurence Associates secured planning permission for a stunning two-storey contemporary dwelling on Cornwall’s north coast in Porthtowan, replacing an existing bungalow on this elevated beachfront site. The design maximises breathtaking views of the sea, featuring an open-plan ground floor with a kitchen, living/dining area, and timber terrace. The first floor includes a master suite, study, and two additional bedrooms, one with an ensuite. Inspired by local mining heritage, the exterior combines natural stone, timber cladding, and copper accents. Laurence Associates provided planning consultancy, architectural design, and project management to deliver this exceptional coastal home.
