Laurence Associates secured planning permission for a unique collection of eight luxury eco-lodges at Sandy Acres, Hayle, near St. Ives, within a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). After extensive negotiations with Natural England and the town council, we designed bespoke Scandinavian-style lodges using eco-friendly timber frames. Elevated on stilts, the lodges protect the natural habitat and promote sand dune regeneration. Blending seamlessly with the sandy landscape, these lodges offer an eco-conscious holiday experience. Laurence Associates provided planning consultancy, environmental liaison, and architectural design to create this stunning, sustainable coastal retreat.
