Laurence Associates secured planning permission to replace rundown post-war chalets and a detached house at Marver Chalets, Mawgan Porth, located within a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Collaborating with Historic England, we designed six contemporary, eco-friendly chalets with sedum roofs, carefully integrated into the historic hillside. After the council rejected the proposal, citing potential harm to the medieval settlement, we successfully appealed. The Planning Inspector ruled in favour, agreeing that the development would enhance the site's character while delivering economic benefits.
