Laurence Associates designed an award-winning 18-home development on the outskirts of Goldsithney, near Marazion, which won “Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development” in the Southwest LABC Building Excellence Awards. Collaborating closely with the parish council, we ensured the design complemented the village, using traditional materials and proportions. The project, evenly split between affordable and open-market housing, was approved with minimal opposition. Laurence Associates provided planning consultancy, architectural design, and community engagement throughout the process, delivering a scheme that enhances the village’s eastern entrance while meeting local housing needs.
