Laurence Associates secured planning approval for one of Cornwall’s largest solar farms, a 56-hectare development, approved by Cornwall Council in January 2013. Our team prepared the Environmental Statement and submitted the application, conducting a comprehensive Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment. The project was classified as an EIA development due to its scale and environmental sensitivity. The Council’s Strategic Planning Committee overwhelmingly supported the scheme, with 14 votes in favour and none against. Laurence Associates provided planning consultancy, environmental assessments, and expert guidance for this large-scale renewable energy project, contributing to Cornwall’s sustainable energy future.
