This L-shape extension project was designed in order to provide the client's 3 bedroom house in Salford, Manchester with a large modern kitchen dining space and a wrap around L-shape extension for a lounge and Golf swing area. The final design features modern vertical timber cladding, large bifold doors opening into a modern garden area. The project is particularly unique as it works with the prefabricated houses built in the Swinton estate. This required a unique approach when it came to the structure of the building in order to work with the composite timber frame and brick external walls.
