About the practice

Lewis and Mallon Architects (lama) is an emerging architecture design studio founded by Scott Lewis and Carly Mallon. Based in Bath and Bournemouth, the practice have a range of high-end residential projects across the south west. Our work aims to positively connect people and places by re-imagining the way we think about buildings and fabrication. We enjoy developing good relationships with our clients, helping them on their journey through design, planning and construction. Scott and Carly met whilst studying architecture at the University of Bath. Over the past ten years we have collaborated in all sorts of ways: as designers, house-mates and now business partners. Our work includes carefully-crafted residential spaces, including a micro-house and eco-cabin. Individually, we have both worked across a wide variety of sectors in multi-disciplinary practices. We are comfortable with both large scale, fast-moving projects and smaller detail-driven designs. We have an extensive professional portfolio of works undertaken whilst at other practices that we can share by e-mail. Please email hello@lamastudio.co.uk to request our full professional portfolio.
