The project comprised of rennovation and extension both vertically and horizontally of a typical semi detatched property in an East London suburb. The reconfiguration of the ground floor layout resolved the issue of neighbouring outbuildings upon the boundary . A single storey rear extension now follows the neighbouring outbuildings with folding sliding doors follow the new external rear wall. This helps with the natural light requirement that a nine metre extension brings. Natural daylight provided by roof lights and sunpipes. Additional accommodation is gained from a full width dormer (hipped to gable) and loft conversion at second floor level.
