Leicester City's training centre at Charnwood builds on the Club's incredible 2015-16 Premier League winning season and reflects its owners' ambition to keep the Club competing at the very highest level. The masterplan includes 12 full-size pitches, a show pitch with a 500-seat stand to allow academy teams to play in a match environment, a full-size indoor pitch signature building that moulds into the landscape forming the centrepiece of the masterplan, an integrated training centre building for first-team and academy squads including fitness and hydrotherapy suites, tactics, medical, media, dining facilities and a 9-hole recreational golf course and sports turf academy which will train the next generation of elite ground staff. The facility seeks to combine best practices in elite sports training with celebrating the Foxes' culture and ethos.
