This project adds a single-storey extension to the rear of the property, providing more dining and kitchen space with seamless connection to the garden through the contemporary sliding doors. The existing conservatory to the south-west side of the building was demolished and replaced by a much smaller contemporary bay window. The newly built extension has a modest contemporary structure with flat roof and largely glazed garden frontage. The materials are in keeping with the house, while maintaining a contemporary feel with the single storey extension to the rear clad in zinc, referencing the existing dormer to the first floor.
