Refurbishment and new build of a large private residential house in a spectacular setting. The site is unique and commands a prime location on the sea front opposite St. Michael’s Mount. The existing building is a Victorian villa dating back to 1872 that has had many unsympathetic conversions and alterations over the years. A listed folly building on the site as well as Conservation Area and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty planning designations brought challenges as well as inspiration to the design process. We have helped transform the building and the site back to its former glory while securing planning permissions for extensions and new outbuildings in this sensitive location.
