KGA were commisioned by the owner client to undertake the design and construction drawings for the substanital extension and refurbishment of the a 1920'3/30's arts and crafts property. The client brief was to retain the essacne of the roiginal facade and style of the property whilst almost doubling the internal area and incorporating all modern facilities including an indoor swimming pool The project required careful consultation with the local Planning Authority due to the proerties prominant location within a semi-rural location. Three seprerate planning approvals were obtained by the practice as the project was developed and refined during a two year period providing the client with the space and design he required KGA provide full design, planning and constrction drawings for the full redevelopemtn of the site. The detailed design developed the spacial and architectural design into a comprehensive refurbishment which included interior design and details for each eleemtn of the scheme The project was completed in 2010
