Initial conversations started in 2019 - then, in 2022, after living in the house a few years we were appointed to help turn this house into a family home. The client wanted to add a couple of bedrooms and enlarge the family areas. The brief developed into a double storey front extension, a single storey rear extension, and a new loft floor under a raised roof. Our services included design options, considering costs from an early stage; a PHPP energy assessment which highlighted key opportunities in helping the owners to increase their comfort; a detailed pack of construction documents; and the submission of both the Planning and Building Regulations applications.
