Repair and conservation works to an important Grade II Listed Tudor Courthouse with a Kitchen extension and Pantry/Boot room. The Conservation Officer requested the extension to be lightweight and contemporary and we undertook consultation with them and HE as the site was also a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Following research into the house history and was how it had changed over the years, we created a bright space off the existing kitchen with Steel + glass screens and doors under a zinc roof. The main house had a new staircase, new breathable floors, with underfloor heating and a new boot room extension on the other side of the house by adjusting an attached outbuilding. The house was completely re-plumbed and rewired with new bathrooms and the attic had a new staircase and was brought back into use.
