Longstowe Hall Courtyard was a Georgian garden villa, that was converted in the Victorian period to a Stables and Coachouse. We undertook the design to convert it to a reception hall for weddings, dinner and other events. The gardens of Longstowe Hall were opened to the public for the first time and the courtyard building would also be used for gaden visiors and included WCs and kitchen. We worked with Historic England for the building altertaions and the parkland parking . The building had an insulted roof with bat loft as there is a maternity roost. The walls and floor were upgraded with insulation. We added new arched bespoke designed and made doors and sashes to fill the space with light and allow views of the moat.
