Branch Place is part of the second phase of the wider Colville Estate Masterplan that Karakusevic Carson Architects began developing with Hackney Council in 2009. Designed in accordance to a rigorous Residents Charter and Design Code, the project is the result of a long and active programme of community engagement and provides 116 mixed-tenure homes across two urban blocks, a revised street network of east-west and north-south routes, carparking, playable landscapes and local shops. The project was completed in 2019 and won a 2020 Civic Trust Award.
