Multiple phases of work combining careful restoration of a Grade I-listed building, innovative repurposing and contemporary insertions across multiple historic structures at Orleans House Gallery, Richmond. Through a major refurbishment of the existing West Wing Gallery, a new build extension and the refurbishment of the existing Octagon Room, the project has significantly improved the visitor experience at this prestigious piece of cultural and built heritage. We have also converted the disused listed coach house and stables to create exemplar flexible and accessible spaces for a variety of new activities, greatly enhancing the gallery’s capabilities.
