JWA have been appointed by Marston’s Inns and Taverns to act as part of a design and build team tasked with the delivery 30 new Restaurant/ Pubs per year for the period 2011-2016. We have a comprehensive involvement with each site from early feasibility studies, through to planning and construction alongside licensing and other statutory permissions. The concept model for the restaurant pub will be deployed across the country and consists of several building footprints sizes designed to meet with the local demographic and site conditions. The development of the model restaurant pub involves close collaboration between Marston’s operations team and the construction design team, the outcome being an optimised timber frame package off ering a short construction phase of 22 weeks. The programme is being executed successfully with Marston’s taking delivery of full turnkey packages on site after site on time and on budget.
