In mid 2016, Justin Smith Architects acquired new premises in the centre of Derby on Queen Street, next to Ye Olde Dolphin Inne and close to Derby Cathedral. This gave the practice an opportunity to create their own purpose designed studios. The premises, completed early 2017, have been the subject of a major refurbishment. Set over four floors, they now feature a retail reception, design studios, consultation spaces, meeting rooms and staff break out spaces, all in a fresh contemporary style.
