Wedgwood has a longstanding association with drinking tea. In 2016 they commissioned the practice to produce a design concept for a Tea Room that could be used as a platform to promote their chinaware. The concept uses the iconic Wedgwood blue and white metal trellis to create a 'conservatory-like' space with a central tea bar. This concept was trialled at the Chelsea Flower Show in the from of a pop-up 'Tea Conservatory' in a prime location in the centre of the grand marquee.
