Davison School is soon to offer a much improved visitor experience and a striking new visual identity for the school. The project will create a new entrance for the school and functional improvements to the school office that will benefit staff and students. The new building will provide a clearly identifiable and welcoming entrance with a direct access route and signage integral to the building. The bold architectural form is designed to make a strong visual statement about the school ethos and its future. The cantilevered roof provides a generous covered entrance with wide ramps and steps designed to improve access for all. The new light and airy reception space will provide a positive first impression and an informative and comfortable waiting area. The expanded school office will allow reorganisation, improvements in efficiency and provide better school security. The project is approved and construction planned for 2015.
