The depot accommodates parking, maintenance and wash facilities for the bus fleet of 56 Buses, with a separate traffic office incorporating driver welfare facilities. The facility provides charging infrastructure for the electric bus fleet. The site was formerly a vacant brownfield site which required full planning permission and consideration to mitigate noise, protect flora and fauna, site boundary conditions and the replacement of a Georgian brick wall with agreement of the Hillingdon Council Heritage Officer. The welfare building also incorporates a biodiverse roof.
