Birch Avenue is a back land house development secured through an innovative approach of JAIA SMS(Strategic Map Scanning) in which JAIA Architects provide tailored property development intelligence to potential clients. The back land of the existing house (Redcote) surrounded by the natural beauty of the countryside in Haywards Heath has been identified as a great potential. However, the ancient woodland turned out to be a huge constraint the project needed to hurdle. Through the pre-app and planning stages, JAIA Architects have successfully proposed a 4,400 sqft house sitting well within the close proximity of the ancient woodland with a pond which later nicely landscaped as a great visual amenity for the scheme. The detail and layout of the house has been meticulously developed by the client, agents and JAIA together to meet the local market demand.
