Jacobs acted as Lead Consultant in delivery of Leeds Arena upto RIBA Stage D when the project became a design and Build contract. Working in collaboration with arena specialist (Populous) our architects lead the design development and consultation process which resulted in gaining planning consent for this major intervention into the city-scape of Leeds. The 12,500 capacity venue has seats configured in a fan shape providing excellent visibility for all concert goers. Yhe venue was opened to wide acclaim in the summer of 2013.
