We were appointed to add a two-storey side extension to an end-of-terrace dwelling in Hendon. The site benefits from vast greenery but is limited by its orientation, the available land sitting on the Northern side of the plot. Our proposal consists of a generously proportioned side addition that opens up towards the sky and the garden. The stepped increase in building mass and bulk from the side garden towards the existing house was a decisive factor for the application 's approval, over the planning appeal stage.
