Two blocks are proposed, one providing family flats, the other a supported housing development, comprising of bedsit flats and communal facilities including a community room, training room, meeting rooms and support staff accommodation. The proposal takes account of the existing trees on the site, and the new buildings are laid out so as to retain the trees, which become important features in the communal gardens which surround the buildings. In order to make the best use of the sunlight, the principal rooms of each block are orientated to the south, with views over the local park.
