Demolition of existing village hall and construction of new village hall. The former village hall was no longer adequate for modern day use. A replacement village hall was designed to accommodate our client’s needs including a grand multi-purpose flexible hall, a more functional kitchen, adaptable toilets and levelled access throughout the building. Our client approached us after having a few unsuccessful attempts to design a new village hall, the schemes either failed to meet their requirements and budget or they were not able to obtain planning approval. We successfully achieved both without compromising the design. One of the hardest challenges, that we overcame in the project was to deliver the building’s programme in such a tight floor area.
