The STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) Tower at Wimbledon High School provides new art, design technology, maths and science learning spaces with some important features for collaboration and flexibility. The top floor of the STEAM Tower has been designed for the art department with views out over Wimbledon and lots of natural daylight. The school were looking for buildings which make learning visible within the confines of the site and connect the departments together, encouraging a cross curricular-curricular approach. Rooms which allow a variety of uses with flexible furniture and IT is vital to the school’s teaching methodology. We share the schools passion for a built environment and learning spaces which reflect the educational philosophy of the school.
