Alteration to existing property, Listed Building - Grade II, Within a Conservation Area

Listed townhouse within the Belgravia Conservation Area. Independent Architects were appointed by the commercial client to deliver an architectural proposal for the extension of the basement level and the addition of a new ground floor garden terrace, plus full refurbishment works for the property. The five storey scheme received Listed Building Consent and Planning Permission for new layouts on each floor, a double height glazed dining area to the rear, extended basement living room and new utility off the front light well. Construction details including the coordination of the structural glazing, new fenestration, services and basement were coordinated with the Council’s heritage team to allow the works to proceed.
