This transparent stair gives a sense of magic to the interior. Two flights of cantilevered glass allow light and space to flood the house whilst being able to almost surreally support the passage of residents. Each tread is cantilvered from the sidewall, not touching the next tread, or the glass balustrade wall. No fixings are visible and LED strips beneath each tread emphasise the effect of weightlessness and lack of support.
