The existing Victorian house was very traditional and cellular, with little flow onto the large rear garden. We proposed opening up and combining the rear rooms and extending out to provide a more generous room that spilled out onto the a large rear terrace. Folding sliding doors open onto a South-facing limestone terrace, with steps down to the garden. This has completely transformed how the house is used and connects the living space to the garden.
