A light filled extension to a domestic detached house that flows into the garden. The existing house was cramped at the rear, a common issue with many houses of the era. In conjunction with the client, we identified the need to provide a hub for modern family life. We kept the client informed of the best way to negotiate the planning application procedure and to maximise chances of an approval. This minimised the whole programme to allow the project to complete within schedule and reduced the amount of time that the client had to vacate their home. The whole house was refurbished at the same time and carried out within the original programme.
