A 3 bedroom end of terrace property in the heart of Chelsea. We worked closely with Italian interior designer Umberto Branchini to create an open plan contemporary, highly detailed home. The design employed a restrained palette of travertine, light oaks, dark walnut, polished plaster walls and bronze accents. As well as a comprehensive internal refurbishment linked by a custom ribbon-like winding staircase, the reconfiguration included an extension into an unused light well at lower ground floor level, a bronze and glass contemporary extension and the creation of a new terrace leading out from the kitchen. Full of personal details such as his and hers offices and an open plan living room featuring a bespoke Murano glass feature light, this project was an essay in balancing clean contemporary ‘high design’ with the essential day-to-day and comfortable elements required to make a house a home.
