The planners required the retention of some flats in addition to the house. A large side extension was added including garages, an indoor heated swimming pool and 5 new flats with their own separate entrance. This is joined to the main house by a contemporary link including a feature glass staircase. The principal reception rooms are extended at the rear creating a large terrace at first floor. The full height entrance hall features a new oak staircase from ground to second floor. A lighting control and audio system has been installed throughout the principal rooms. The garden has been fully landscaped including a new tennis court. Approval for a new guest house in the garden has not been implemented.
