This former foresters cottage close to the Kerry Ridgeway, but just inside Shropshire had been altered and extended many times over the years and was in need of a new plan which looked at the house as a whole. A complete transformation was undertaken, creating new open plan living spaces and large bedrooms with panoramic views across the border into Wales. Smooth white render and seamed metal roofs were introduced creating a bold modern dwelling.
