Admiral Group’s move to Newport City centre provided an opportunity to regenerate the area immediately adjacent to Newport’s railway station. The striking building has floor plates arranged around a triangular atrium which links the staff break-out spaces at each level to create a ‘social spine’. As part of the scheme, a number of A3 units were provided lining a new public plaza. In addition to the shell and core, Holder Mathias delivered Admiral’s Cat B fit-out, including the bespoke timber-clad reception foyer. The office space can house up to 1200 Admiral staff.
