This one-bedroom studio flat has been converted into an elegant property. The principal space incorporates a kitchen, home working area and living room, followed by a bedroom at the rear of the flat with en-suite bathroom. Generously proportioned windows and high ceilings create a quiet confidence in this home. The design was led by paneling the walls, simple in form but capable of adding a quality and sense of history to the classic Victorian architecture. High-quality materials have been applied throughout, from oak herringbone floors in the principal room, to Buster and Punch ironmongery and restored skirtings and cornices. The bathroom is fitted with white mosaic wall tiles, for a crisp and contemporary language. Although small, the spaces are thoughtfully considered.
