The site in Portsmouth: a former contaminated gas works covering an area of approximately 13 hectares. The site has been divided into plots accommodating a phased development. Phase one comprises of flexible B1b/B1c/B2/B8 Units totalling 16,594m². Units include primary spaces, associated office/mezzanines, circulation cores and wc facilities. The scheme was developed to minimise its impact on the local environment, greatly improve its locality and incorporate sustainable design measures. These include: rainwater harvesting, grey water recycling, renewable energy source and great crested newt protection. Construction value - £10m
