A development of 2 buildings to provide supported housing to Women in Need as a refuge, together with a building providing supported housing for homeless women in Middlesbrough. A high level of sustainable design utilising timber frame construction to acheive Code for Sustainable Homes level 3 - Design assessment achieved. Difficult local concerns and planning issues were overcome by extensive community liasion and perticipation.
