The new school is designed to accommodate 750 pupils aged 11-16 as well as additional facilities for a 15 place assisted resource base facility. The new facilities were operational from the start of the new autumn term in September 2011. The school has flexible accommodation to facilitate the inevitable changes that will occur during its lifetime. Integrated technology underpins the new facilities enabling personalised learning, contributing to workforce reform and the improvement of effective multi-agency service provision. The school building represents the rich heritage of the local area as well as Cornwall as a whole, Brannel school is a welcoming and exciting place for learning. Brannel School is the only specialist Performing Arts College with English in the Country.
