This school is jointly funded by the Archdiocese of Cardiff, Bridgend County Borough Council and the Welsh Assembly Government. The school is designed to accommodate 750 pupils aged between 11 16 and is to include approximately 150 6th formers. Due to the topographical challenges on the site and the need to integrate the school with the local community, placing the school close to the site entrance and building it over three floors is beneficial. Along with Architectural services,HLM also provided Interior and Landscape design - the school achived BREEAM Excellent. HLM desiged the building with flexible working spaces that will allow pupils to realise their full potential.
