Within a Conservation Area, New Build, Sited in Greenbelt land
The project was a traditional arts and crafts new build house in a conservation area, we executed both the architectural and interior design on behalf of a wealthy overseas businessman. All the materials externally are bespoke, reclaimed brickwork, bronze windows, steady oak, hand made clay roof tiles and bronze balustrades. Internally the house is also very traditional with the predominant use of oak wall panelling, skirtings, covings/architraves and doors. Together with fabric walls and integrated technology (lutron, audio visual etc). The spaces are luxurious in every respect, high ceilings and quality materials give superb acoustics and feeling of warmth and quality. The main living space is nearly 9 metres in height and is a focal point to the entire project with 3 metre high oak wall panelling, chandeliers and oak trusses.
